Defibtech Lifeline AED(R) Chosen For 2006 Winter Olympic GamesIt is the Parish Council’s intention to install an Automatic External Defibrillator (AED)in Paulerspury and in Pury End.  The one in Paulerspury will be on the front wall of the school.  In Pury End we are negotiating to have an AED in the phone box on Lower Street.   More and more AEDs are being located in towns and villages throughout the land.  They provide a device which can be used by anyone in the event of a sudden cardiac arrest and they have the potential to save life.  Further information will be sent out to each household in due course and there will be an opportunity to ask questions at the Annual Parish Meeting.  A full information/training session given by East Midlands Ambulance Service will be arranged to take place at a future date which will be published on the web and in the Newsletter.
