PAULERSPURY PICTUREDROME – the Imitation Game

imitation gameThe last film to be shown in this Winter’s Session will be, as usual, in the Village Hall on Friday 11th March at 8.00 pm.  As selected by my regular filmgoers, it will be THE IMITATION GAME.  This is the story of the breaking of Germany’s Enigma Code in World War 2 and particularly the part played in this by Alan Turing, who subsequently suffered a tragic end.  Much of the film features nearby Bletchley Park and we may still have a few local residents who actually worked there during the war.  My thanks to this season’s regular attenders.
