SNYE – Community PLAYback project

Th SNYE is scheme will deliver ‘doorstep opportunities’ enabling communities to come together and reclaim the streets for activity, play and community interaction.

Disability Football Fun in Rushden

Now taking place every Wednesday Inc. Summer holidays. See attached flyer for all the details.

Funded Yoga Classes

We are delighted to draw to your attention an opportunity for 6 months of funded yoga classes for cancer patients and those living with cancer.

Thanks to Sport England Tackling Inequalities Funding, Stretch to the Future have offered funded weekly Yoga classes available at two locations (Ironstone Wellbeing Centre, Kettering and The OM Studio, Northampton) and live online.

Northamptonshire Sport has worked alongside Macmillan Cancer Information and Support Leads at Kettering General Hospital and Northampton General Hospital to design a pathway of opportunities.

As a local charity working on the national Sport England strategy to ‘Unite the Movement’ campaign. Northamptonshire Sport is also leading on key pieces of work to help tackle inequalities and reduce the negative impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on activity levels in those disproportionately affected by COVID-19.

Starting on the week commencing 14th June 2021, the sessions will run 4 times a week across 2 locations. All sessions will be available in person and live online.
